I’ve been really delving into the world of beauty, skincare and cosmetics lately because with having such a visual profile, I really need to feel good about my appearance because no one wants to look less than perfect on social media, right? So while I’m pretty happy with my beauty routine, I’m always happy to try new things and see what I can improve upon!
Recently I got the opportunity to try out a few of Shiseido’s newest products and I’ve got some really great things to say about them! I will start with my favorite, the Shiseido Ibuki Smart Filtering Smoother.
If you’ve never come across this type of product, you are probably going to be amazed at the results. Shiseido claims that it will blur away flaws and shine, and add an in real life filter to your face. As I put this on it blends the lines of your skin and any blemishes that you have. It’s best to use after cleansing and moisturizing your face. It gives a really good base for your foundation, I found that it helps my foundation to sit overtop nicely without getting absorbed into my face which did away with the need for any concealer because it did such a better job of covering. The photo below is a before and after comparison of what it did to the lines on the palm of my hand. I did not use any filter or any editing on this photo at all. The blurring is completely the product.
Next is the Shiseido ULTIMUNE Power Infusing Concentrate. It’s meant to help boost your skin’s immunity to blemishes and imperfections caused by environmental stress. It works great as a moisturizer and I applied it after cleansing my skin. Also smells fantastic.
The Shiseido IBUKI Quick Fix Mist is a really great gel spray that you can use to refresh your make up during the midday or maybe early evening and just helps to make your make up look fresh again and helps get rid of any extra shine. I find that after spraying it really helps to be able to reblend my makeup.
And the last thing they sent me was a sample of the Shiseido IBUKI Beauty Sleeping Mask. It goes on right before bed on a clean face and you leave it on until morning. My face felt really nice in the morning very hydrated with that nice fresh shine.
