My Top Beauty Essentials

Beauty products are coming and going so fast these days it’s hard to keep up with them! It’s of course a lot of fun to try out every new ‘it’ product that comes out but you can definitely spend a ton of money and be left with a lot of stuff that doesn’t necessarily work for you!

Ive compiled a list of my absolute favorite go-tos to share with you and what I love about each one.

1. Diorshow Mascara

I have tried a ton of mascara and they all generally are the same. There’s lots of promises for volume, curl, length but all a girl really wants is all of the above, right? Dior’s mascara is an all around great mascara, it doesn’t clump at all and above that all, I love the smell of it 🙂 I like the original and have recently purchased the Blackout version. I find the Blackout does tend to go on a little thicker than I’d like but it’s still fresh so after I am further into the tube, I suspect I will like it a bit more.

2. Smashbox Lipsticks

I love the Matte Collection of Lipsticks from Smashbox. I think they have a great color selection and they last a really long time without smudging or fading. I also like the liners they sell and can always find a great match.

3. Prada Candy

This perfume satisfies all of my scent cravings. It is sweet and juicy with a nice cotton candy scent. It’s not too overwhelming but you will honestly smell like candy. So good and my absolute favorite scent!

4. IGK Rich Kid Coconut Oil Gel and Beach Club Texture Spray

I recently received these products to review for IGK and Influenster and I’m so glad I did. I’d never heard of IGK. The gel is lightweight but effective and the texture spray is perfect for extra hold with braids and curls. The smell of both is insanely good and they use natural ingredients.

5. Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade

The holy grail of eyebrow filler, it is easy to apply with the right brush, adds just the right amount of tint and fills sparse spots nicely. It’s also precise enough to get the perfect shaped brow.

6. Lavami The Elixir Facial Serum

The Lavami Face serum is my favorite for a nice moisturizer, I use this before applying my makeup (let it soak in all the way first) and again before bed. The ingredients are all natural and super healthy for your skin!

7. Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray

This setting spray will never let you down! It keeps your makeup looking fresh all day and all night! I always use it for photo shoots.

8. Bare Minerals Foundation

For day to day use, I use Bare Minerals Powder with Mineral Veil Setting Powder and their bronzer and blush duo. Again, I like knowing that what I’m putting on my skin isn’t going to be toxic since everything you put on your skin gets absorbed into your body. I get great coverage and it’s really easy to apply.

9. Viva Organics

After removing my makeup at the end of the day, I use the Amaze Exfoliating Gel once a week to remove the dead skin and leave my face fresh. The Anti Aging Cream is great for making my skin nice a creamy and has been helping to keep the wrinkles away!

10. Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit

This contouring palette is really great for adding highlights and shadows. I like to use mini blenders to apply it and they are great for blending the color.

11. Tarte Cosmetics

Last on my list is Tarte Cosmetics and not just one product but pretty much every one I’ve ever tried. They are one of the most natural cosmetic lines carried at Sephora so it’s always the first section I head to. The foundation has great full coverage, the clay paint liner is the only liquid eyeliner I’ve felt comfortable with (and it has amazing stay power) and the Tarteist Pro eyeshadow palette is my newest addition with some very nice colors and great pigment.

So that pretty much sums up my favorites list. I’d love to hear your suggestions and please let me know if you have any questions about these products!

Till next time,

Lindsey xoxo
