We all love the look of gorgeous long silky hair and most of us are not naturally blessed with it. I’ve been trying to grow my hair out for years and it just won’t get much past about halfway down my back. Another issue that you can run into is that even if you can get your hair long, the ends are often tapered off as the end get broke and damaged. Extensions are such a great solution to both problems and there’s such a variety available today that it’s not hard to find something that works for everyone!

I find that for me, the best option is clip in extensions because for one, I want something that I can take out and not have to style them everyday. I also know that if I only wear them here and there, I’m going to have them for a very long time with proper care. They are also great for someone who has never had extensions and is wanting to try them out before committing to a full installation.

So I was super excited to try out the clip hair extensions from Irresistible Me. I already have another pair that I own so I decided to try these in the long 24″ length in contrast to my regular 18′ length clip-ins so I could try that Kim Kardashian style look. You know the one!

Here’s a side by side before and after of no extensions at all to the full 24″ length. My hair is noticeably fuller and a great waist length so it looks super lush and full.

The ones I ordered are the Silky Touch 100% Remy human hair in Chocolate Brown. I love that when I received them, they packaged one piece separately to try out the color and be sure it was a match before opening the rest, and having the option t send them back to exchange if the color didn’t work out. I did find a lot of help matching the color in some Youtube videos.

These extensions are priced at $229 which is a good price for this length and when you sign up for their email, they offer a 20% discount code, which makes a huge difference!

I had an easy time styling these and setting a curl in them. If you style them and use product you are going to need to wash them before the next use, a gentle shampoo and conditioner works fine. I did notice a lot of dye runoff with the first wash. It doesn’t seem to have toned down the original color so it hasn’t caused an issue, just be careful not to wear white while you wash them the first time. I always use a heat protectant spray before using any hot tool on my extensions.

Overall I am happy with this set and the look I get from them. The ends are tapered which helps to blend them in with your own hair, especially if you have layers. I sometimes notice that they aren’t blending perfectly but only if my hair is straight, curling is much better to mix them in. I also advise carrying a small brush in your comb to keep the ends looking neat throughout the day.

I hope you try them out and I’d love to hear others’ thoughts as well. They are great value and give you such a full bombshell look!

I received this product free from Irresistible Me to review, all views and opinions are my own.

Till next time,
